*Fall* Beginners Horse Management Course
For the NEW to horses person to learn proper care, safety and handling. Ages 8-99
Service Description
This Class is designed to teach participants who are NEW to being around horses or in their first year of owning one. We will learn all about proper horse care, safety & handling in a fun and interactive and hands on way. We will teach things like how to catch, lead, groom and saddle the horse, Feeding & Barn cleaning and Tack care. Leg wrapping, Basic First Aid and Record keeping. Each week our class will have hands on & interactive learning that will lay a foundation of becoming a safe and competent horse person. Upon completion each child will earn a Certificate of Completion of the Beginners Horse Management Course at Emerald Oaks Farm. *This course is 6 weeks and will take place rain or shine, there will be no make ups for days missed*
